Sherlock Holmes 2 - The game of Shadows Review.

“The Best And The Wisest Man Whom I Have Ever

Known”
The End ?

Detective Sherlock Holmes and his stalwart partner Watson engage in a battle of wits and brawn with a nemesis whose plot is a threat to all of England.

Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law are once again back together as Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson to take on their new adversary - Professor James Moriarty (Jared Harris) in Guy Ritchie’s ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.’

A sequel to Ritchie’s action sequel ‘Sherlock Holmes’ (2009), ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’ opens in nineteenth century Europe, where France and Germany are at loggerheads over anarchist bombings. Entrusted with the task of solving the case, Holmes zeroes in on Moriarty. From here on starts the battle of one-upmanship, where Holmes beats Moriarty and foils latter’s nefarious plans of world war.

As Sherlock Holmes and Watson, Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law are livewire. Their ready wit and brilliant one-liners simply keep you engrossed in the film, which otherwise lacks the radiance of a sharp script. And yes, we do get a chance to witness Holmes and Watson’s ‘bromance.’ Sparks fly when Watson marries Mary (Kelly Reilly) and Holmes fears losing his most trusted aide, partner.

‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’ literally comes alive with the gleaming performances of Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law. The duo is completely in sync with their characters and shares a great camaraderie as co-stars.

‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’ is a treat for the fans of Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law. And yes, how can we forget Sherlock Holmes?

DOXING - New Internet Problem

In the modern world, Internet has become a wonderful place to gain knowledge, exchange ideas, share information, make new friends and whatnot. Even though, you can do all of this by remaining anonymous behind your monitor, your real life identity and personal details can still be at the risk of falling into the hands of strangers. This is where the term “ doxing ” comes into play! What is Doxing? Doxing  simply refers to the process of gathering or deducing other people’s information such as name, age, email, address, telephone number, photographs etc. using publicly available sources such as the Internet. In other words, doxing is the act of using the Internet to search for personal details about a person. Doxing is done by initially taking a piece of information (such as “name” or “email address”) and keeping it as a base to find out other possible details about the person. The term “doxing” is derived from the word “document tracing” which means to retrieve documen...

Alien Abduction

Continuous bad news, about the weather, the economic climate and disastrous wars, dominate the media but what is not being reported is that  U.F.O.  sightings are occurring on a daily basis.  Many of these sightings have a plausible explanation but some of the UFO’s appear to be under intelligent control, such as  secret government projects.  Could it be, though, that others are guided by aliens? Attitudes towards the existence of aliens are changing.  Children, in their films, and games, are made aware of their existence from an early age and T.V documentaries about possible alien visitations, in the Early World, are now treated more seriously than in the past.  The attitude of the Catholic Church has also changed dramatically since 1614 when it forbade Galileo from teaching the Copernican theory that the sun was at the centre of the solar system. The Vatican now operates its own observatory and, in an interview on the RAI 1 programme, ‘Specialet...
