How to Replace or Upgrade your Hard Drive on PS4

Materials:  Phillips head screwdriver Computer with internet access USB Flash Drive (1 GB minimum) 2.5 inch (internal type) serial ATA hard disc drive (HDD) (parallel ATA is not supported) Directions: 1. Go to playstation.com, and find the most recent system software. The current page for this is here:  http://www.playstation.com/en-us/support/system-updates/ps4/ .  Scroll down and look for this section: Click the link (circled in red in our image). There are multiple system software files on Sony's system software page -- update versions and full installs. Make sure you find the latest version (the page will display the latest version number up top -- but the file download listed at the top is usually the update, not the full install you'll need for a hard drive replacement). Look for the full install listed under "Perform a New Installation of the System Software," as the smaller update file won't work for a fresh install. The file should be clo...

Idea for a MDM App!!!

Indiblogger recently organized an event with the aid of Nokia. Your wish is my App II, a Nokia IndiBlogger meet Well It was really good to see such an event for such a technical brainstorming. This blog post is all about my idea about an app which can really help us out in many areas. I am referring from taking surveys ,polls to collecting funds and really large chunk of raw data. I want an app on Master Data Managemnt MDM may be many different things. For me it’s about Master Data Management and for others it’s about Mobile Device Management. A recent twitter chat session organized by Gartner (the analyst firm) had the tag #GartnerMDM. It was about Master Data Management but of course there also were questions about Mobile Device Management. And sure. One of the foremost technology trends being mobile doesn’t have the same attention as other hyped trends like big, social and cloudy within this MDM, but mobile may actually also play a role within master data ma...

Find your better way

The Lenovo Yoga was the first device to make Windows 8 interesting. It had a hinge that could convert the laptop into a tablet or fold into a tent. Lenovo has since refined that design into an even better laptop, and it has also taken the time to convert some of that design philosophy to the Android-powered Lenovo Yoga Tablet. When it comes to Android tablets, they are all rather ho-hum; big rectangular slabs. In an effort to use them comfortably as a display or for watching a movie, clunky cases and folios must be purchased in order to prop them up. Sure, you can lean it against something and hope it doesn't fall over, but that is risky business. Lenovo feels the pain of Android users and has created a new solution -- a  better way , if you will. The company explains that the tablet, "features three unique modes, giving consumers a better way to use a tablet. With hold, tilt and stand modes, the tablet adapts to the way people use it instead of forcing people to ada...

OFFICE 365 - Is it able enough for all your needs?

I belongs to IT industry. Everyone aims to be at a  decision making p osition , my dream is to own a IT firm. I know the task is huge , demanding and risky. However this post is in context of Office 365 - as the name suggest , Microsoft states this is a standalone tool required for all office work. Instead of using 360 degree view of the task they have extended it to 365 - something extra is available on the plate.Honestly, recently in every area end user want to get all the benefits in a single packet. It is like a combo meal offer , you can not expect single user to buy different services from different vendors and update all of them at different instance of time and synchronize them. Office 365 seems to be a promising solution to the quest. Here are the features from this suite :   SharePoint Online SharePoint is Microsoft’s web platform and is designed to provide communication, consolidation, collaboration,  and content management. Exchange Online Exch...

Google Nose is prank of the year

Google has launched a new product that allows users to search the internet through smells. Yes, you read it right. The internet titan has rolled out Google Nose, currently in its beta stage, which enables users to check out what their search queries smell like.   For example, you can look up for terms like wet dog, lemon or beach and get a whiff of their aromas by pressing your nose against your laptop, smartphone or tablet.   Wondering how will you enjoy the scent of, say, a rose from your PC, smartphone or tablet? Google says that it has achieved this by "Intersecting photons with ultrasound waves to temporarily realign the molecules to emulate a particular scent."   Android users can even look up the scents around them by submitting the search query through Google Now digital assistant that now integrates a smell-based feature called Android Ambient  Odour  Detection. So, they would have to open the Google Now app, hit the search but...

DOXING - New Internet Problem

In the modern world, Internet has become a wonderful place to gain knowledge, exchange ideas, share information, make new friends and whatnot. Even though, you can do all of this by remaining anonymous behind your monitor, your real life identity and personal details can still be at the risk of falling into the hands of strangers. This is where the term “ doxing ” comes into play! What is Doxing? Doxing  simply refers to the process of gathering or deducing other people’s information such as name, age, email, address, telephone number, photographs etc. using publicly available sources such as the Internet. In other words, doxing is the act of using the Internet to search for personal details about a person. Doxing is done by initially taking a piece of information (such as “name” or “email address”) and keeping it as a base to find out other possible details about the person. The term “doxing” is derived from the word “document tracing” which means to retrieve documen...

Access Your Facebook Account with 3 Passwords

Did you know that you can login to your Facebook account using 3 different passwords? Seems interesting isn’t it? Yep! Unlike any other online account which has only one password to access, Facebook lets you log in using 3 different variants of your password. Only a few Facebook users are aware of this fact, but for many others, this might seem a bit surprising. Facebook accepts the following forms of your password: 1. Your Original Password Let me explain this to you with the following example. Assume that your default Facebook password that you created during the sign-up process is: 2. Password with the Case Toggled In the above password the letters ‘F’ and ‘P’ are in uppercase and the remaining are in the lowercase. If you TOGGLE the case  where all the UPPERCASE characters are converted into the lowercase and vice versa, your default password “myFacebookPass” would become: Now if you log in using the above toggled password, your Faceb...

LCD : NEW GUIDELINES

Walk into a TV showroom and the dazzling display of screens can be tempting. However, the wide variety and the salesperson's spiel can confuse rather than ease your decision. Here are 6 features you should consider before buying an LCD TV. RESOLUTION This is the number of pixels per square inch or the number of rows and columns used to create the display. Most high-definition (HD) TVs have a resolution of 1920x1080, referred to as 1080p. The 'p' indicates progressive-scan format (every line of information is shown), which delivers a smoother image that stays sharp during motion.   You'll enjoy high resolution most if the video source is also HD, such as Blu-ray, a laptop (with a 1080p output) or the latest HD channels. BRIGHTNESS Luminance is the amount of light emitted by the screen and is measured in candelas per square meter (cd/m2). A brightness rating of 550 cd/m2 or higher is good, but it is better if you check this feature yoursel...
